2018 Community Development Block Grant and HOME funding and Mandatory Workshop

The City of Charlottesville will be accepting proposals for 2018 Community Development Block Grant and HOME funding. Projects will support a viable urban community through the provision of decent housing, a suitable living environment, and economic opportunity for low and moderate income citizens. Beginning October 27, 2017, the RFP and related documents can be found on the City’s website. Online submission is required.

When: beginning October 27, 2017, and ending at 4:00 p.m. on December 1, 2017.

Where: Online 

Program priorities that will help guide funding decisions include affordable housing, workforce development,  access to quality childcare, microenterprise assistance, homeowner rehabilitation and downpayment assistance.

Mandatory RFP Workshop: The City will host a mandatory workshop to provide technical assistance on Thursday, November 2, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. The workshop will be held at City Space - 100 5th St NE, Charlottesville, VA 22902. Attendance to the workshop is mandatory and registration is required.
