The Community Services Working Group was opened to everyone interested in addressing the human services needs of the Spanish-speaking population in Charlottesville/Albemarle.
The CSWG worked on many projects, from organizing help fairs and advocating on behalf of improved interpreter services at UVA Medical Center, to offering cultural sensitivity trainings. It also served area service providers and volunteers as a forum and opportunity for networking. The working group welcomed new members as well as ideas or suggestions for projects related to its mission.
The group has been disbanded until someone offers to reactivate and coordinate it.
