Free Screening of Inconvenient Sequel

Piedmont Virginia community College will host a free screening of An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power. 

Mouth Wide Open food truck will be in the parking lot with food available for purchase from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Hidden Figures Scientist To Speak at PVCC

Christine Darden, a retired NASA mathematician, data analyst and aeronautical engineer who is featured in Margot Lee Shetterly’s book “Hidden Figures: The Story of the African-American Women Who Helped Win the Space Race,” will speak at Piedmont Virginia Community College

2018 Community Development Block Grant and HOME funding and Mandatory Workshop

The City of Charlottesville will be accepting proposals for 2018 Community Development Block Grant and HOME funding. Projects will support a viable urban community through the provision of decent housing, a suitable living environment, and economic opportunity for low and moderate income citizens. Beginning October 27, 2017, the RFP and related documents can be found on the City’s website. Online submission is required.
